Shape
what comes
next.
A 12-week fully online fellowship for emerging leaders across ASEAN, where AI meets policy, community, and real-world impact.

Bridging the AI skills gap across Southeast Asia.
Southeast Asia isn't waiting for AI to arrive. It's already here. AI for Asia trains the next wave of ASEAN leaders to shape how it's built, governed, and deployed across the region.
Fellows learn from industry leaders, UN officials, and policy makers through live sessions, mentorship, and a capstone project they actually ship.
Expert Mentors
Live sessions with industry leaders, UN officials, and policy makers shaping AI governance across the region.
Cohort Network
Cross-border connections with emerging leaders from 12 ASEAN nations and South Korea.
Capstone Projects
Ship real AI solutions addressing pressing challenges across Southeast Asian communities.
Six areas of work.
The AI for Asia Fellowship isn't built around a single idea of what AI should do. Fellows work across six interconnected areas, AI literacy, policy and ethics, workforce development, research, innovation, and community, each one essential to building a future where AI works for everyone in the region, not just a few.
One region.
One movement.

New voices, soon.
The 2026 cohort brings in a new class of speakers; founders building AI tools in Southeast Asia, policymakers at the table where decisions get made, and researchers asking the questions that matter. Lineup dropping soon.
Past voices.

Meet the Founders
The visionaries driving AI opportunity across Southeast Asia.

Guided by experience
Leaders who help shape the direction of AI for Asia.

Voices shaping tomorrow.
The 2025 Outstanding Fellows came in as changemakers and left as a community. From policy to product, from Manila to Singapore, they're the proof that responsible AI in Asia isn't a distant goal, it's already being built.
Across Southeast Asia.
The 2025 cohort brought together fellows from every corner of the region, from Bandar Seri Begawan to Jakarta, Phnom Penh to Manila. Different countries, different languages, different challenges. One shared conviction: that AI in Asia should be built by the people who actually live here.

That customer service job you interned for last summer? AI handles it now. The data entry roles your classmates applied to after graduation? Automated. The graphic design freelance gigs? Platforms like Canva AI and Adobe Firefly just cut the barrier to entry in half. 164 million workers across Southeast Asia are in jobs being disrupted by AI right now, not in 10 years. Now. This isn't about fear. It's about who gets to be on the building side of this shift instead of the receiving end.
