“Unlocking Asia’s Future:
Learning, Lead, and Innovate with AI”

ABOUT AI FOR ASIA

AI for Asia is a regional program organized designed to empower young leaders across the region with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to thrive in an AI-driven future.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming industries, economies, and societies across the world. In Southeast Asia, these transformations present both opportunities and challenges: unlocking innovation and efficiency while disrupting traditional labor markets. The inaugural AI for Asia fellowship seeks to bridge the AI skills gap by equipping the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and change makers with future-ready skills, entrepreneurial mindsets, and collaborative networks.

Over a 10-week intensive program, fellows engage with world-class speakers, industry leaders, policy experts, and innovators. They will participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, case studies, group discussions, mentorship opportunities, and capstone projects that apply AI to real-world problems.

OUTSTANDING FELLOWS OF 2025

Carrisa Tehputri

“There is a lot to prepare for ASEAN- and it is a massive question of whether we should do it independently per country or collectively as a regional unity”

Jupiter D. Cabig Jr.

“The government can play a pivotal role in supporting AI startups and sharing of best practices can make the startup ecosystem more vibrant.”

Dylan Joseph Gonzales

“AI is very multisectoral and also an international affair that must be able to ethically take advantage of for the betterment of communities, especially in regards to ASEANS developement in the coming years.”

Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang

“My biggest takeaway is that AI governance and workforce adaptation must happen in parallel. It’s not enough to focus on innovation countries like those in ASEAN need coordinated efforts across government, industry, and academia to ensure AI is deployed responsibly while preparing young people for rapidly shifting labor markets.”

Shine Min Kha
